Privacy: We do not collect any personally identifiable information when you visit our web sites, other than information you voluntarily give us, needed to complete a transaction when you make a purchase, sign in to save your Shopping Basket, subscribe to newsletters or when you specifically request information about products, services or our company. We never sell, trade or in any other way share any of your personal information with other organizations for any purposes, unless we are compelled by law to comply with an official order from a judicial court having proper jurisdiction.
Cookies: Our systems use "session cookies" to keep track of information during your visit, such as what items you add to your shopping cart, information on what pages are visited, the number of times you may have visited our web site. We do not use cookies that track your visits to web sites other than those owned or operated by our company or in any way "spy" on your activities on the Internet. When you visit any of our web sites, our web servers detect your I.P. address, which is standard procedure. We collect information in the aggregate on what pages are visited, when they are viewed, how often they are visited and how many different visitors view each page, as well as what web site referred each visitor, such as a search engine, directory or a link from another web site, where you may have seen paid advertisements. We use this anonymous user information to determine where our advertising dollars are best spent. This information is recorded for use in the aggregate and lets us know what pages or categories of our web sites are most popular and which are not, so that we may internally review the information, to provide a better experience to you, our customer.
Security: We use state-of-the-art encryption technologies when transferring and receiving consumer data exchanged with our site, to protect your personal information. We have appropriate security measures in place in our physical facilities to protect against compromise of all information collected from you when you make a purchase or otherwise voluntarily provide to us. Sensitive data, such as your credit card number, expiration date and card security code are retained for a limited period of time, only for use in processing your order or additions to orders, as you may request. After your initial purchase, this sensitive information is stored for the limited period of time in a manner that complies with or exceeds legal requirements and rules set by all major credit card companies.
Unsolicited Email: We have a strict anti-spam policy. We never send unsolicited commercial email. If you make a purchase, you will receive a confirmation email, at the address you listed on your order. When your order ships, you will be sent a shipping notification by email, so that you can track the progress of your order.
If you have received an email that contains information about our company or products, it is because you or someone using your email address filled out a form requesting information about our products or services at a wedding-related web site or directory, sent in a request form from a bridal magazine or wedding directory or registered elsewhere, such as a bridal show, asking that you be sent information about our products and services. We only respond to requests for information and never send unsolicited email about our company.
If you have recently made a purchase from our company, we may contact you by email to obtain feedback from you about your purchasing experience. We value your input and welcome your opinion about our products and service. These inquiries are one-time contacts, solely for the purpose of obtaining information about your experience with our company, so that we may serve you better. You will not be asked to purchase anything. We never put you on a mailing list, unless you specifically request that your name be added to a newsletter or other periodical subscription list. We will never contact you more than one time per purchase. If you receive a followup email, we want your true opinion, positive or negative, in order to improve our products and/or customer service. If you do not wish to receive a followup email, you may contact us using the information below and request that you not be included in any customer satisfaction surveys.
